Apgujeong Residence（狎鷗亭旅館）

it was cold out last night. the room was kinda cold when i fell asleep but ended up waking up at like 5 cuz the room was really cold. maybe she just forgot to turn the heat on for the floor.. i tried to go back to sleep, but couldnt. and i wasnt about to shower only to come out into a fridged room, so i packed up my things and went to a nearby sauna to shower. i hope others have better experience than me..

The room was nice, the woman spoke wonderful English, and the decorations were beautiful. The hostel was quiet and clean.

The bathroom was so small that it was almost impossible to shower or use the toilet. (I am a 5'4" girl, I could only sit sideways on the toilet.)

The bathroom is too small and the old woman gets angry easily . The breakfast is poor . No bread or jam egges ect ...just noodles and coffee .

The hostess allowed me to use the washing machine free of charge. The guesthouse is also in a very convenient location.

Although she did allow me to do some washing, the hostess was not at the hostel at the check-in time, and was very impolite when she did arrive. Also, no mosquito coils or repellant were provided in the room, so I was bothered by mosquitos all night. Finally, there was no breakfast provided, even though this was advertised in the price.

Nothing. Didn't like it at all.

Dusty bed, unclean blankets, the wasn't polite. Vey bad air conditioning. I have booked a room with a breakfast, there was no breakfast at all.

It's located good spot in GangNam.

I'm sure this place is most of small and cheap place for stay in GangNam. Dirty linens, toilet size bath room, not ready for basic stuff for client, unfriendly worker. I will not to use this place again. But if you don't have money enough for other hotel then... I would say to you "It's good location."

Easy check-in, easy check-out. The room was clean.

The problem is that somebody from Europe would never expect a room like this. This is a Korean gosiwon, which is basically a small room, with a bed, TV and a tiny bathroom inside the room. The bathroom has a toilet, a sink and a shower. But to shower, you need to squeeze yourself between toilet and sink, and by doing that, you shower / clean the entire bathroom at the same time. The thing is that I didn't know this was a gosiwon. So if I had known, I wouldn't have booked it, but as long as you are OK with a tiny room like that, you should consider this. The old woman that you have to check-in with doesn't speak English well, so be prepared to state everything you want clearly. Don't just assume that she will do something because it's common practice in the Western world. Just tell her, and she will do it.

Location is ok, near 7/11, Family Mart.

I booked a room with breakfast but I didn't get breakfast in the morning as the owner (older Ajumma) disappeared. Smelly towels.

Fantastic location. Great price, especially for the area.

Musty rooms with a sort of odd odor. Had a few pieces of trash leftover from previous guest in shelves. Not much in the way of amenities. Kitchen area and "clean" bowls and are absolutely FILTHY. Owners are rarely around.

The property was fairly close walk to the subway. The room had a small fridge and a private (if very small) bathroom.

I was surprised to discover the room didn’t have air conditioning (despite it being advertised). The room did have a fan- but that was not ideal for the hot summer.

압구정이라 위치는 좋았습니다.

사실상 고시원이라 좁고, 여름에는 모기도 자주 들어오고 그랬습니다.

침구가 깨끗했다. 가격이 저렴했다. 따뜻했다. 환기가 잘 되었다.

매우 좁다(호텔이 아닌 고시원이다). 방음이 안된다.

을지병원 사거리쪽에 위치해서 학동역, 압구정역 모두 접근성이 좋아요. 좁지만 화장실, 침대, 드라이기, 행거, 책상 짐놓은 선반 등 완벽했어요. 깔끔했어요! 전기장판도 있어서 따뜻했어요. 침대도 푹신푹신.

방음이 전혀 안됩니다! 약간 고시원?같은 느낌이에요. 호텔이나 모텔이라기보다는 고시원에 가깝네요. 그래도 하루 쉬고 출근하기는 좋았어요.

정말 굳이 뽑자면 압구정에 위치한다는 점. 압구정에 다른 좋은 숙소가 많이 있으니 굳이 여기를 잡을 이유없음.

한마디로 최악. 一言で表現するなら、最悪。 갑자기 가게 되어서 맨날 잡는 숙소를 잡지 못해, 급하게 잡은 압구정 레지던스. 밤 비행기라서 도착시간이 새벽이 될 것 같은데 관찮냐고 미리 문의를 미리 드렸었는데 답장 없었고, 그랬는데 도착하자마자 주인 아주머니가 초면인 저한테 "도대체 왜 무슨 생각으로 이런 시간의 비행기를 잡냐"며 못살겠다며 불만을 계속했다. 게다가 제 캐리어를 막 밀고 부딪히게 하기까지. 비행기 늦어서 이렇게 되었다고 죄송하다고 해도 다른 비행기 잡지~ 라는 말까지 함. 손님을 손님다운 대할 줄을 모르시는 듯. 타월을 어디서 받는지도 설명 없었고, 조식있다고 써놓고서 준비 하나도 없음. 체크아웃 할때는 안불러도 되니까 방에 키를 놓고 가라고만 함. 여기는 이름만 레지던스지 실제로는 그냥 완전 좁은 고시원임. 진심 비추! 엘리베이터도 고장날 것 같이 오래된 거였고.. 레지던스 안에는 낮인데도 로비? 통로?에 전기를 안 켜서 어둠 깜깜. 체크인하고나서 숙소 바꿔야하나 생각까지 들정도.. 샤워할 공간조차 없고, 에어컨도 없어서 진심으로 불쾌했다. 다시는 절대 안감.

싼 값에 서울 강남에서 지낼 수 있다는 것이 괜찮았습니다. 어차피 하루 묵는 것이어서 딱히 큰 불편함은 없었네요.

얼마 안 묵어서 그런지 크게 들어오지는 않았네요.

레지던스인줄 알고갔는데 고시원이였습니다 화장실도 들어가면서있을공간도 없구요 사용할수없어서 장식인듯합니다 수건부터 이불까지 다 더러워서 이걸써도돼나 싶어 그냥 옷입은체로 잤습니다 찜질방가세요
